As of 22:40 UTC, access to live logs was restored across both regions.
Retroactive
Beginning at approximately 21:40 UTC (4:40 PM Eastern), customers lost the ability to access a real-time tail of logs ( https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/logging#real-time-tail ) for their apps. Engineers received notification of these failures and immediately began to respond.
This incident did not affect logs drained to other Log Storage Providers via Logging Add-ons or via an app’s (or Private Space's) configured log drains.
